Doug Jenks is a director with Auman, Mahan & Furry. He counsels employers regarding industrial accidents, focusing mostly on workers' compensation and OSHA defense. He also handles general business litigation and insurance defense claims.
Doug represents clients before the Ohio Industrial Commission, Common Pleas Courts, Courts of Appeals, and the Ohio Supreme Court. He is also admitted to and has practiced before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Doug is a member of the Ohio and Dayton Bar Associations, and is the past Chair of the Dayton Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Committee. He frequently speaks to industry groups regarding regulatory compliance, workplace safety, workers’ compensation, and OSHA matters. Doug also writes and publishes articles on these topics and is recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer.
Doug and fellow AM+F director Abbie White co-host the Health and Safety Law Report, a podcast found on most podcast services. Each episode of the Health and Safety Law Report focuses on some aspect of workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Doug is proud to be a native of Dayton, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio; a Master of Arts degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh; and a law degree from the University of Dayton.
